Document privacy and retention

Source files are deleted after processing. Results are automatically deleted 2 hours after completion.

Files

Input documents are used only to perform the requested OCR conversion. Source files are deleted after terminal processing. Result files are retained for 2 hours from completion and then deleted automatically.

Access

HTTPS is used for transport. Result files are returned through authenticated or demo-token-protected endpoints and are not intentionally exposed as public static file URLs.

Operational metadata

Job identifiers, status, page counts, timestamps, errors, usage metadata and support logs may be retained for reliability, billing integrity, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Application logs are designed not to record document content, API secrets or full sensitive URL query strings.

Marketplace privacy

RapidAPI launch configuration must keep Request Body logging and Response Body logging turned off.

Changes

This page describes the service behavior implemented by the current API version. Material changes to retention or processing policy should be reflected here and in the product contract.
